About This Image

Originally known as the Eagle Street Wharves, the precinct was part of Brisbane’s main wharf area. Owned by the Australasian Steam Navigation Company, the wharves were built in 1858 to service cargo and passenger vessels until 1960. In 1989 the wharves were redeveloped into Brisbane’s finest riverfront dining and entertainment area.
